About the role#
As a Campaign Fundraising Manager for the Student Visionaries of the Year program, you will build relationships with fundraising volunteers and implement peer-to-peer fundraising strategies to meet revenue goals. You will work within a mission-centric organization, collaborating with local teams and national partners to advance the mission of Blood Cancer United.
What you'll do#
- Drive high-impact peer-to-peer fundraising to achieve revenue targets.
- Partner with the Education, Services, and Health Research departments to communicate organizational programs and priorities.
- Recruit and cultivate high-level volunteer committees and fundraising participants.
- Identify and network with constituents and donors to secure support for fundraising initiatives.
- Develop and execute strategic plans for fundraising products, including managing budgets and timelines.
- Organize mission-centered donor cultivation events.
What you'll need#
- Bachelor’s Degree.
- 3-5 years of professional experience.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
- Demonstrated ability to use digital, social media, and emerging online channels.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Ability to supervise volunteer groups and manage multiple priorities.
- Detail-oriented approach to project management.
Location & details#
- Location: Melville, New York.
- Modality: On-site.
- Employment: Full-time, paid position.
- Compensation: $78,000 – $85,000 per year.
- Requirements: Ability to travel within the designated area and work occasional evenings or weekends. Must be able to move campaign materials weighing up to 15 pounds.
