About the role#
As a Campaign Fundraising Manager for the Student Visionaries of the Year program, you will build relationships with fundraising volunteers and implement peer-to-peer fundraising products to meet revenue goals. This role requires a mission-driven approach to donor cultivation and volunteer management within the Richmond area.
What you'll do#
- Partner with the Education, Services, and Health Research departments to communicate the organization's mission, programs, and priorities.
- Drive high-impact peer-to-peer fundraising to achieve and exceed revenue goals.
- Recruit and cultivate high-level volunteer committees and fundraising volunteers.
- Organize mission-centered local donor cultivation events and prospect high-impact donors.
- Collaborate with local relationship teams and national partners to execute annual strategic plans.
- Develop recruitment plans and secure new partners through independent research and networking.
What you'll need#
- Bachelor’s Degree.
- 3-5 years of relevant experience.
- Good communication and organizational skills.
- Ability to supervise groups of volunteers and manage multiple priorities.
- Demonstrated knowledge of digital, social media, and emerging online channels.
- Proficiency with the MS Office Suite.
- Majors in Business Administration, Marketing, Communications, or Public Health are preferred.
Location & details#
- Location: Richmond, Virginia.
- Work Modality: On-site.
- Employment Type: Full-time.
- Compensation: $38 to $39 per hour ($70,000 to $72,000 per year).
- Requirements: Ability to work some evenings or weekends and travel within the designated area. Must be able to move campaign materials weighing up to 15 pounds.
