About the role#
The Campaign Fundraising Specialist supports the mission of Blood Cancer United by managing the logistics, data, and coordination of peer-to-peer fundraising products. This role focuses on helping the organization reach revenue goals within a designated market area through operational support and event management.
What you'll do#
- Manage logistics, timelines, and operational elements for assigned fundraising campaigns.
- Act as an on-site manager during fundraising events, overseeing staff, vendors, and volunteers to ensure participant satisfaction.
- Provide input into the development of strategic plans, including revenue, budget, and goals.
- Research and recommend event venues and location sites.
- Manage data entry to ensure CRM and fundraising systems remain accurate and updated.
- Collaborate with internal teams to communicate the organization mission, programs, and priorities.
- Coordinate with vendors to secure services or in-kind donations.
What you'll need#
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
- 0 to 2 years of experience in a related role.
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite.
- Ability to supervise and lead a group of volunteers.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and timelines effectively.
- Comfort using digital and social media tools.
- Ability to move campaign materials weighing up to 15 pounds.
