Campaign Fundraising Manager II

About the role#

Blood Cancer United is seeking a Campaign Fundraising Manager II to join our team in Dayton, Ohio. This role focuses on building relationships with fundraising volunteers and implementing peer-to-peer fundraising products to achieve revenue goals within the designated market area. You will work to advance our mission of enabling patients with blood cancer to gain more than one million years of life by 2040.

What you'll do#

• Partner with the Education, Services, and Health Research department to communicate the organization's mission, programs, and priorities.
• Drive high-impact peer-to-peer fundraising to meet overall revenue targets.
• Recruit and cultivate high-level volunteer committees and fundraising volunteers.
• Provide input into the development of strategic plans for peer-to-peer fundraising products, including budgets, goals, and timelines.
• Collaborate with local relationship teams and national shared service partners.
• Organize mission-centered local donor cultivation events and prospect for national stewardship activities.

What you'll need#

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
• 2 to 4 years of experience in a directly relatable role.
• Proficiency in MS Office Suite.
• Knowledge of multiple sales channels, including digital and social media.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and timelines effectively.
• Strong skills in relationship building, volunteer recruitment, and sales.
• Ability to influence and persuade others.

• Requirements: Ability to travel within the designated area and work some evenings or weekends. Must be able to move campaign materials weighing up to 15 pounds.
