Student Digital Construction Coordinator

About the role#

This is a 4-month co-op position based in Edmonton, Alberta, starting in May 2026. Interns are provided with a business-relevant project and the opportunity to manage their own area of responsibility while receiving support from an assigned supervisor and technical mentor.

What you'll do#

• Perform project duties related to Digital Construction deployment and assist in identifying constructability issues.
• Act as a Model Administrator for assigned projects and maintain models including structural, architectural, and MEP systems.
• Collaborate with the site team to facilitate site logistics plans and develop schedule visualization models and 4D simulations.
• Assist in training project staff and subcontractors on Digital Construction software and workflows.
• Coordinate 3D laser scans, point cloud models, and consultant BIM models.
• Assist in model coordination meetings and help maintain the BIM Execution Plan.
• Compile contract VDC close-out documentation and accumulate facilities management information.

What you'll need#

• Current enrollment in an Engineering (Civil, Mechanical, Environmental, Computer), Architecture, or Construction Management program.
• Completion of at least one more semester of education following the internship.
• A GPA of 3.0 or higher.
• Experience working with Revit and Navisworks.
• Proficiency in Autodesk Construction Cloud, Revizto, and Fuzor is considered an asset.
• Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills, with the ability to work collaboratively.
• Residency or a valid work permit allowing for employment in Canada.
• A current transcript must be included with your application.
