About the role#
The Learning & Development Intern will support the department with training administration, content creation, and event logistics. You will work closely with L&D Business Partners to help maintain our culture of learning and support the administrative side of training delivery and onboarding. This is a full-time, temporary position lasting approximately 6 months.
What you'll do#
- Audit, create, and update training materials and content.
- Manage content within the Learning Management System (LMS) and pull training reports.
- Monitor the LMS for incomplete training and send reminders to staff.
- Troubleshoot basic LMS access issues.
- Administer the tuition reimbursement process and track employee certifications or license renewals.
- Maintain and update onboarding learning plans while tracking new hire progress.
- Ensure managers have the necessary tools to onboard new hires.
- Coordinate logistics for workshops, training sessions, and conferences.
- Assist with facilitating training classes and sessions.
- Compile feedback data from surveys and create recaps or reports.
- Develop a working knowledge of operational policies and procedures.
What you'll need#
- A Bachelor's degree in Instructional Design, Adult Learning, Education, Human Resources, or a related field. Students completing final coursework online are welcome to apply.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- A high spirit of service with prior customer service experience.
- The ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
- A valid state driver's license, reliable transportation, and proof of insurance.
- Fluency in English.
- Property management experience is a plus.
Location & details#
- This role is based in Golden Valley, Minnesota.
- The position offers a hybrid work option, though you must be based locally.
- You will need to travel between sites occasionally for meetings or classes.
- This is a full-time, 40-hour per week commitment.
