About the role#
This internship provides an opportunity to gain hands-on experience within the civil engineering industry. You will work directly with our team, receiving mentorship from BGE employees while contributing to ongoing projects. The program includes dedicated training sessions and career development events alongside intern-specific activities.
What you'll do#
- Collaborate with team members on daily engineering tasks.
- Participate in company-sponsored training and professional development events.
- Engage in intern-specific activities to build your professional network.
- Work a full-time schedule of 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment as a full-time student pursuing a Bachelor degree in Electrical, Mechanical, or Civil Engineering.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and the ability to learn industry-specific software.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills in English.
- A collaborative mindset and the ability to work well within a team.
