About the role#
As a Pre-Engineering Mechanical Intern, you will support technical employees with daily engineering tasks. You will work under direct supervision, handling basic issues while referring complex problems to senior staff. This is a full-time, paid internship with a rolling term.
What you'll do#
- Learn our organizational processes and procedures.
- Contribute to assigned projects.
- Assist with record and filing systems, drafting techniques, and data resource duties.
- Organize and store maps, detailed design drawings, graphs, and structural drawings.
- Collect and code data from various sources.
- Review existing records for necessary revisions and prepare data for input.
- Maintain documentation and project records.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in an undergraduate degree program in Mechanical, Computer, or Electrical Engineering.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
- Strong oral and written communication skills.
- High level of attentiveness to detail.
- Ability to understand and follow directions.
Location & details#
- Location: Little Rock, Arkansas.
- Work Modality: On-site.
- Travel: 0-5% of the time to job sites or office locations.
- Physical requirements: Ability to remain in a stationary position for long periods, climb stairs, and move objects up to 20 pounds.
