About the role#
Bernhard is hiring an Engineering Intern to support technical staff in Metairie, Louisiana. You will assist with basic engineering tasks and learn how our organizational processes work. This is a full-time, paid internship with a rolling start date.
What you'll do#
- Contribute to assigned projects.
- Organize and store technical documents, including maps, graphs, and structural drawings.
- Assist with record and filing systems.
- Collect and code data for input.
- Review existing records to prepare data and identify necessary revisions.
- Learn and apply standard drafting techniques.
What you'll need#
- You are currently pursuing an undergraduate degree in a technical field.
- You have a beginning to working knowledge of the subject matter.
- You can follow directions and pay attention to detail.
- You work well as part of a team.
- You have clear oral and written communication skills.
Location & details#
- Location: Metairie, Louisiana.
- Modality: On-site.
- Travel: You may spend up to 5% of your time traveling to job sites or office locations.
- Physical requirements: The role involves light work, such as moving objects up to 20 pounds, and requires the ability to climb stairs and remain stationary for periods.
