About the role#
As an Engineering Intern at Bernhard, you will support technical staff while gaining experience in utility system construction. You will work under direct supervision, handling basic tasks and learning our organizational processes. This is a paid, full-time, on-site role based in Tempe, Arizona.
What you'll do#
- Contribute to assigned projects and learn internal procedures.
- Organize and store engineering records, including maps, design drawings, graphs, and structural plans.
- Assist with filing systems, drafting techniques, and data resource duties.
- Collect and code data for input procedures.
- Review existing records to identify necessary revisions and prepare updated data.
- Help maintain documentation and records.
What you'll need#
- Currently pursuing an undergraduate degree in a technical field.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
- Strong oral and written communication skills.
- Attentiveness to detail and the ability to follow directions.
- Capability to perform light work, including moving objects up to 20 pounds.
