About the role#
This is a 12-week paid internship based in our Atlanta office during the summer of 2027. You will work with our Claims team to learn how commercial insurance functions. You will gain hands-on experience with the claims lifecycle and contribute to projects that impact our customers and business operations.
What you'll do#
- Evaluate, review, and analyze claim and policy data to identify trends.
- Assist with daily tasks including claim submission intake, research, and loss run testing.
- Support claim financials and healthcare credentialing processes.
- Review claim data against policy deductible requirements.
- Reconcile financial records and identify ways to improve how we process financial information.
- Collaborate with experienced claims professionals across technical and operational functions.
What you'll need#
- Current pursuit of a degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, or a related field.
- Strong mathematical and basic bookkeeping skills.
- Analytical mindset with a focus on detail and problem-solving.
- Ability to work effectively within a team environment.
