Tax Intern - Spring 2028

About the role#

Bennett Thrasher is seeking candidates for a Tax internship in Atlanta, Georgia, during the Spring 2028 term. This role provides experience similar to that of a first-year staff member, offering exposure to various areas of tax through client projects and research assignments.

What you'll do#

• Prepare tax returns accurately and efficiently.
• Develop income tax projections and estimate calculations for clients.
• Conduct research, analysis, and summarization of financial information.
• Analyze accounting records, financial statements, and reports to ensure conformance with standards.
• Demonstrate knowledge of accounting and auditing theory in daily tasks.
• Maintain and organize client files according to firm standards.
• Collaborate with firm leadership to provide quality service.

What you'll need#

• Current enrollment in an undergraduate or graduate Accounting program with a GPA of 3.2 or higher.
• Basic knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• A commitment to professional and client service excellence.
• Ability to work 40 hours per week.
