About the role#
Bennett Thrasher is seeking candidates for a Tax internship in Dallas, Texas, for the Winter 2028 term. This position provides experience across several areas of tax, offering responsibilities similar to those of a first-year staff member. This is a paid, full-time position requiring 40 hours of work per week.
What you'll do#
- Prepare tax returns accurately and efficiently.
- Develop income tax projections and estimate calculations for clients.
- Conduct research, analysis, and summarization of financial information.
- Analyze accounting records, financial statements, and reports to assess accuracy and conformance to standards.
- Maintain and organize client files according to firm guidelines.
- Demonstrate knowledge of accounting and auditing theory.
- Collaborate with all levels of firm leadership to provide quality service to clients.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in an undergraduate or graduate degree program in Accounting with a GPA of 3.2 or higher.
- Basic knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- A strong commitment to professional and client service excellence.
