About the role#
Bennett Thrasher is seeking Tax interns for a Winter 2028 internship in Dallas, Texas. This role provides experience across several areas of tax. Interns take on responsibilities similar to those of a first-year staff member.
What you'll do#
- Prepare tax returns accurately and efficiently.
- Calculate income tax projections and estimates for clients.
- Research, analyze, and summarize financial information.
- Analyze financial statements and records to ensure they meet reporting standards.
- Demonstrate knowledge of accounting and auditing theory.
- Organize client files according to firm standards.
- Collaborate with firm leadership to deliver quality service.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in an undergraduate or graduate Accounting program.
- A GPA of 3.2 or higher.
- Basic knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- A commitment to professional and client service excellence.
- Ability to work 40 hours per week.
