About the role#
Bennett Thrasher is seeking Tax interns for a Spring 2028 internship in Denver. This role provides experience across several areas of tax, offering responsibilities similar to those of a first-year staff member. You will collaborate with team members across the firm and receive mentorship through our buddy program.
What you'll do#
- Prepare tax returns accurately and efficiently.
- Calculate income tax projections and estimates.
- Research, analyze, and summarize financial information.
- Analyze accounting records, financial statements, and reports to ensure accuracy and compliance with standards.
- Demonstrate knowledge of accounting and auditing theory.
- Maintain and organize client files according to firm standards.
- Work with firm leadership to deliver quality client service.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in an undergraduate or graduate Accounting program with a GPA of 3.2 or higher.
- Basic knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- A strong commitment to professional and client service excellence.
- Ability to work 40 hours per week.
