Tax Intern - Spring 2027

About the role#

Bennett Thrasher is seeking a Tax Intern for the Spring 2027 term in Denver, Colorado. This internship provides exposure to various areas of tax, offering responsibilities and experiences comparable to those of a first-year staff member. Interns will receive mentorship through the firm's buddy program and collaborate with firm leadership to provide quality client service.

What you'll do#

• Prepare tax returns accurately and efficiently.
• Develop income tax projections and estimate calculations for clients.
• Conduct research, analysis, and summarization of financial information.
• Analyze accounting records and financial statements to ensure accuracy and conformance to reporting standards.
• Demonstrate knowledge of accounting and auditing standards and theory.
• Maintain and organize client files according to firm standards.

What you'll need#

• Current enrollment in an undergraduate or graduate Accounting degree program.
• Minimum GPA of 3.2.
• Basic knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong commitment to professional and client service excellence.

• Commitment: Full-time (40 hours per week).
