About the role#
Bennett Thrasher is looking for an AI & Automation IT Intern to join our team. You will support internal AI pilot programs and automation initiatives. This role involves working closely with our IT and development staff to translate business needs into functional AI-enabled solutions. You will operate within our established standards for AI governance, security, and data handling.
What you'll do#
- Assist with AI pilot programs, including testing new tools, validating functionality, and documenting results.
- Participate in the design, configuration, and build of internal AI agents and automations.
- Perform testing and quality assurance for AI agents, workflows, and integrations to ensure reliability and accuracy.
- Document AI agent use cases, prompts, workflows, and limitations for internal reference.
- Work with developers and IT staff to experiment with automation concepts, APIs, and low-code or no-code tools.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business problems and translate them into technical solutions.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in or recent completion of a degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Software Engineering, Data Science, or a related field.
- Basic programming experience in languages such as Python or JavaScript.
- A strong interest in software development, automation, and AI technologies.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Familiarity with APIs, prompts, workflows, or automation tools is a plus.
Location & details#
- This is a paid, full-time internship.
- The role is based on-site in Atlanta, GA, Denver, CO, or Dallas, TX.
- We are hiring on a rolling basis.
