About the role#
Bellwether offers a 10-week summer internship for undergraduate students interested in real estate, finance, and client services. This full-time program provides hands-on experience in equity and debt asset management. You will work alongside Analysts and Associates to gain insight into real estate finance while contributing to live projects.
What you'll do#
- Monitor and manage a portfolio of debt and equity investments.
- Review business plans, leasing activity, and monthly property operating performance.
- Build financial models and develop bespoke analyses for live deals.
- Organize investment data for monthly and quarterly reporting.
- Partner with team members to learn key real estate finance concepts.
- Complete an internship-long capstone project involving the underwriting of a live deal to present to the leadership team.
- Perform ad-hoc analysis as needed.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a bachelor’s degree program in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, or a related field.
- Graduation date between December 2027 and Summer 2028.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
- Ability to read and analyze investment and lease agreements.
- Capability to initiate new processes and work independently.
- Commitment to acting with honesty and integrity.
