About the role#
Behavioral Health Network (BHN) offers a Master's Level Internship for the Fall 2026 term. Based in the Adult Community Crisis Stabilization (A-CCS) program, this internship provides hands-on training, supervision, and mentorship for graduate students pursuing careers in mental health care. Interns gain practical experience in clinical settings while working alongside a supportive team.
What you'll do#
- Shadow and learn how to conduct in-person behavioral health assessments in homes, community locations, or clinics.
- Shadow and learn how to deliver crisis intervention, safety planning, and post-stabilization services.
- Help divert unnecessary hospitalizations and connect individuals to community-based supports.
- Document clinical assessments and treatment recommendations accurately and promptly.
- Demonstrate competency in the utilization of the agency's technological systems.
- Participate in required supervision and trainings.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment as a graduate student in a clinical Master's program, such as Psychology, Public Health, Nursing, or Human Resources.
- Motivation to work in the mental health field.
- Strong documentation skills and attention to detail.
- Prior experience working in the mental health field is preferred.
