Internship- CCS Respite

About the role#

This internship at the Behavioral Health Network (BHN) CCS Respite program in Westfield offers Bachelor-level students hands-on experience in the mental health field. Interns receive mentorship and supervision while learning the daily responsibilities of a BA counselor and supporting the needs of individuals served by the program.

What you'll do#

• Work effectively as a team member to support program goals.
• Identify, analyze, and solve problems as they arise during daily duties.
• Consult with supervisors and colleagues when making decisions.
• Maintain job effectiveness while adapting to changing conditions.
• Learn about BHN mission and program objectives.

What you'll need#

• Current enrollment in a Bachelor-level program for Psychology, Social Work, or a related field.
• Strong documentation skills and attention to detail.
• Demonstrated motivation to work in the mental health field.
• Experience in the mental health field is preferred.
• Ability to establish rapport with individuals served, their families, and service providers is preferred.
