About the role#
Bee Sweet Citrus, Inc. is looking for a student to assist with fresh citrus production and farming operations. This internship requires at least 20 hours per week. While the standard term is three months, there is potential for an extension based on a 90-day performance evaluation.
What you'll do#
- Learn about plant agronomy, including soil types, water usage, fertilizers, and tree health.
- Communicate clearly with team members to ensure operations run smoothly.
- Use Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook for daily tasks.
- Work outdoors in various weather conditions.
- Operate near equipment with moving mechanical parts.
- Lift, push, or pull objects weighing more than 50 pounds.
- Handle multiple tasks at once while thinking logically during high-stress situations.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in an Agriculture Business or related degree program.
- A hands-on approach and strong organizational skills.
- Knowledge of farm equipment and safety regulations.
- Ability to work well both independently and as part of a team.
- Proficiency in computer tasks and written communication.
- A clean driving record and the ability to follow our Fleet Safety Program.
- Bilingual skills in English and Spanish are preferred.

- Compensation: $17.90 per hour.
