Data Processing Intern

About the role#

Bee Sweet Citrus, Inc. is seeking a student to join the data processing team. This internship provides experience in the agriculture industry and requires a minimum of 20 hours per week. The position is initially for three months, with the possibility of extension based on a 90-day performance evaluation.

What you'll do#

• Maintain accurate and up-to-date inventory records.
• Double-check all work for accuracy and notify supervisors of any discrepancies.
• Assist with tagging all full and partial bins and pallets.
• Keep the work area clean, organized, and safe.
• Assist with various production programs, such as AS400 and Spokane.
• Communicate effectively with supervisors, managers, and team members to maintain an efficient workflow.

What you'll need#

• Current enrollment in an accredited university or college pursuing a degree in Agriculture Business, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Basic computer skills.
• Understanding of quality standards, as well as health and safety regulations.
• Ability to work effectively both independently and within a team.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to identify when a process or situation is likely to go wrong.
• Ability to think rationally and apply logic during high-stress situations.
• Ability to adhere to process protocols and complete tasks in a noisy environment.

• Modality: On-site.
• Compensation: $17.90 per hour.
