About the role#
Bee Sweet Citrus, Inc. is hiring a student to join our data processing team. This position requires at least 20 hours of work per week. Internships typically last three months, with the possibility of an extension based on a 90-day evaluation. This is a paid, full-time on-site role based in California.
What you'll do#
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date inventory records.
- Double-check your work for accuracy and notify a supervisor of any discrepancies.
- Tag all full and partial bins and pallets before they leave your work area or by the end of your shift.
- Keep your work area clean, organized, and safe.
- Learn and assist with various production programs, such as AS400 and Spokane.
- Communicate with supervisors, managers, and team members to maintain an efficient workflow.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in an accredited college or university, specifically majoring in Agriculture Business, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Basic computer skills.
- Knowledge of quality standards and health and safety regulations.
- The ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- The ability to identify when something is wrong or likely to go wrong.
- The ability to think rationally and apply logic during high-stress situations.
- The ability to complete tasks in a noisy environment.
