About the role#
The Tax Intern in Transfer Pricing works alongside consulting economists to assist multi-national companies in pricing transactions between entities within their corporate groups. This role involves examining economic conditions and industry trends to help clients comply with domestic and foreign tax regulations.
What you'll do#
- Conduct client interviews to gather information on corporate structure, functional responsibilities, and value drivers.
- Analyze industry and financial data to benchmark intercompany pricing policies.
- Perform financial analysis, including market penetration scenarios and the valuation of intangible property.
- Write industry overviews, functional analyses, and technical memos for transfer pricing reports.
- Prepare and deliver presentations to convey analytical results and recommendations to clients.
- Take detailed interview notes and prepare summaries for team members.
- Proofread and edit reports to ensure accuracy before delivery.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree program in Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, specifically Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
- Exceptional research and writing skills, with the ability to draft technical reports.
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a deadline-driven environment.
- Leadership experience is preferred.
