About the role#
The Tax Intern in Transfer Pricing works with consulting economists to help multinational companies price transactions between their corporate entities. You will assist with evaluating economic conditions and industry trends to help clients comply with tax regulations. This is a full-time, paid summer internship based in Los Angeles.
What you'll do#
- Conduct client interviews to gather information about corporate structure, functional responsibilities, and industry context.
- Analyze financial and industry data to benchmark intercompany pricing policies.
- Evaluate market penetration scenarios and calculate the value of intangible property.
- Prepare reports that document research, quantitative analysis, and final results for clients.
- Draft technical memos that describe the analytical process.
- Proofread and edit reports before delivery to ensure accuracy.
- Assist with presentations to convey analysis results and pitch service capabilities to potential clients.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree program in Accounting, Economics, Business Administration, or Finance.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, specifically Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
- Strong analytical and research skills.
- Exceptional writing and editing capabilities for technical material.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a busy environment.
- Effective interpersonal skills for professional client communication.
