About the role#
The Transfer Pricing Tax Intern will join a team of consulting economists to assist multi-national companies with the pricing of transactions between entities within their corporate groups. This internship focuses on examining economic conditions and industry trends to help clients comply with domestic and foreign tax regulations. This is a full-time, on-site role for Summer 2027.
What you'll do#
- Conduct client interviews to gather information regarding corporate structure, functional responsibilities, risk distribution, and value drivers.
- Analyze industry and financial data to benchmark and document intercompany pricing policies.
- Perform financial analysis, including evaluating market penetration scenarios and calculating the value of intangible property.
- Prepare project reports and technical memos that document the analytical process and compliance with tax regulations.
- Write industry overviews and functional analyses for transfer pricing reports.
- Prepare and participate in client presentations and pitch service capabilities.
- Summarize interview notes for team members and proofread reports prior to client delivery.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree program in Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, specifically Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
- Exceptional research and writing skills, with the ability to proofread and edit technical material.
- Strong analytical skills and the ability to handle multiple projects in a deadline-driven environment.
- Effective interpersonal skills for professional client communication and public speaking.
- A basic understanding of transfer pricing and a strong desire to learn more about the industry.
- Leadership experience is preferred.
