About the role#
BDO USA is hiring a Tax Intern for our International Tax Services team in Dallas for the Summer 2028 term. This is a full-time, paid, on-site internship. You will work under the guidance of experienced team members to learn how we consult with clients on cross-border tax matters.
What you'll do#
- Perform tax research and analysis on various international tax issues.
- Assist in preparing Written Tax Advice (WTA) for international and cross-border transactions.
- Prepare international tax compliance forms and US international informational reporting.
- Coordinate with non-US colleagues to understand how US tax rules align with foreign tax law.
- Use tax research databases and internal software to support client reporting obligations.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment in a Bachelors or Master’s program in Accounting, Taxation, or a Master of Laws (LLM) degree program.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, specifically Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Experience using research tools such as RIA, BNA, Lexis Nexis, or Westlaw.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to follow instructions as directed and work effectively within a team.
