Specialty Tax Services Intern, Transfer Pricing - Summer 2027

About the role#

The Transfer Pricing Intern works with a team of consulting economists to assist multi-national companies in pricing transactions between entities within their corporate groups. This role involves examining economic conditions and industry trends to help companies comply with domestic and foreign tax regulations.

What you'll do#

• Conduct client interviews to understand corporate structures, functional responsibilities, risk distribution, and value drivers.
• Analyze industry and financial data to benchmark or document intercompany pricing policies.
• Perform financial analyses, such as evaluating market penetration scenarios or calculating the value of intangible property.
• Prepare project reports that include research, quantitative analysis, and final results.
• Write industry overviews, functional analyses, and technical memos.
• Create presentations to communicate analytical results and recommendations to clients.
• Proofread and edit reports and take detailed notes during client meetings.

What you'll need#

• Enrollment in a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree program in Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, specifically Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
• Exceptional research and writing skills, with the ability to draft technical reports.
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work in a deadline-driven environment on multiple projects simultaneously.
• Leadership experience is preferred.
