About the role#
The Specialty Tax Services Intern in Transfer Pricing works with a team of consulting economists to assist multi-national companies in pricing transactions between entities within their corporate group. This role involves examining economic conditions and industry trends to help companies comply with domestic and foreign tax regulations.
What you'll do#
- Conduct client interviews to gather information on corporate structure, functional responsibilities, risk distribution, and value drivers.
- Analyze industry and financial data to benchmark or document intercompany pricing policies.
- Perform financial analyses, including market penetration scenarios and valuations of intangible property.
- Write industry overviews, functional analyses, and technical memos to support transfer pricing reports.
- Prepare project reports detailing research, quantitative analysis, and final results.
- Take interview notes, summarize findings, and proofread reports for client delivery.
- Prepare presentations to share analysis results and participate in pitches for service capabilities.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree program in Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, specifically Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
- Exceptional research, writing, and editing skills.
- Strong analytical skills and the ability to handle technical material.
- Leadership experience is preferred.
- Ability to work in a deadline-driven environment while managing multiple projects.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate professionally with clients.
