Assurance Intern - Summer 2027

About the role#

This internship provides an opportunity to gain hands-on experience within the Assurance practice. Interns work alongside experienced team members to assist with audit engagements, problem-solving, and fact-finding while developing professional relationships.

What you'll do#

• Participate in a structured on-the-job training program to build familiarity with audit methodology and standards.
• Provide support functions to audit staff throughout the engagement process.
• Communicate with clients, customers, creditors, and banks regarding audit issues.
• Prepare and document work in working papers using firm-specific tools.
• Complete an assigned accounting or audit-related research project and present findings to a panel of professionals.

What you'll need#

• Enrollment in a Bachelors or Masters program in Accounting.
• Active pursuit of school credits required to become a CPA.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, specifically Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team.
• A Master's degree in Accounting and prior leadership experience are preferred.
