About the role#
As an Assurance Intern, you will work alongside experienced team members to gain hands-on experience in the audit process. You will participate in a structured training program and begin to apply your academic background to real client engagements. This role offers an opportunity to build professional relationships and gain insight into the firm's practices.
What you'll do#
- Participate in a structured on-the-job training program.
- Assist with various stages of the audit process using BDO audit methodology.
- Communicate with clients, creditors, banks, and related parties regarding audit issues.
- Prepare and document work in working papers using firm-specific tools and templates.
- Complete one assigned accounting or audit research project and present your findings to a panel of professionals.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment in a Bachelors or Masters program in Accounting.
- Active pursuit of the necessary credits to become a CPA.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, specifically Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Ability to work effectively within a team and follow instructions.
