About the role#
This is a full-time, paid internship for Summer 2027 based in our Columbus, Ohio headquarters. You will work directly with a mentor and our leadership team to gain hands-on experience in the logistics industry. This program is designed to build your sales and operations skills through training, networking events, and direct involvement in our daily business processes.
What you'll do#
- Train on our proprietary TMS and core operational tasks.
- Learn to sell, book, and dispatch loads.
- Negotiate rates with carriers and secure capacity.
- Study market pricing and its effect on load coverage.
- Help cover loads at or below market rate.
- Coordinate with the Operations team to transition loads after dispatch.
- Work with Account Coordinators to learn execution processes.
- Gain exposure to both transactional carrier sales and relationship-driven customer sales models.
What you'll need#
- Junior or Senior undergraduate status pursuing a degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or Operations Management.
- Ability to work on-site in our Columbus office.
- A hard-working and positive attitude.
- Willingness to learn and perform in a busy environment.
