About the role#
The Missions Assistant provides support for the daily administrative operations of the Missions department at Baylor University. This role involves managing logistics and paperwork for over 35 trips each year. You will work within the Missions, Service and Public Life office to ensure departmental tasks remain organized.
What you'll do#
- Manage trip paperwork and track data.
- Communicate with team leaders and compile feedback.
- Help recruit participants for planned trips.
- Prepare for and run Missions Week events.
- Assist with local service events and other office tasks as needed.
What you'll need#
- Ability to work independently once you complete training.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Experience with clerical work and data tracking.
- Reliability and the ability to maintain confidentiality regarding sensitive student information.
- Capacity to lift up to 25 pounds occasionally.
- Approved Baylor Driver status is preferred.
- Enrollment in Business Administration or Communications programs.
Location & details#
- Location: Bobo Spiritual Life Center, Waco, Texas.
- Schedule: 15 hours per week, Monday through Friday, with occasional nights and weekends required for events.
- Term: Fall 2026 through Fall 2027.
- Pay: $8 per hour.
- Modality: On-site.
