About the role#
This position supports the Marketing and Management Departments at the Paul L. Foster Campus for Business and Innovation. You will handle daily administrative tasks and interact with faculty, staff, students, and visitors. The role involves supporting the department centers, including Professional Selling and Sales Strategy in Sports and Entertainment, with various events and office operations.
What you'll do#
- Provide marketing and communications support for assigned projects and strategies.
- Greet visitors and provide general office and clerical assistance.
- Handle incoming and outgoing correspondence, including answering phones and taking messages.
- Assist with document preparation, filing, and maintaining office records.
- Manage data entry tasks, spreadsheets, and reports.
- Help faculty with PowerPoint presentations and Word documents.
- Distribute mail and packages, make copies, and deliver items to the copy center or other campus facilities.
- Maintain office supplies and organize common areas.
- Perform hospitality tasks and support department events.
- Protect the confidentiality of all information.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment as a student with a major in Marketing, Communications, or Business Administration.
- Willingness to take initiative and work both independently and with a team.
- Excellent customer service skills.
- Ability to maintain regular, punctual attendance and follow university policies.

- Location: Waco, Texas.
- Term: Fall 2026.
- Modality: On-site.
- Schedule: Part-time, up to 20 hours per week.
- Compensation: Paid position at $8.50 per hour.
