About the role#
The Office Assistant provides administrative support to on-campus communities at Baylor University. You will serve as a resource for residents, guests, and staff while helping maintain the safety and security of the residential community.
What you'll do#
- Monitor door security and verify resident identity.
- Provide customer support to residents and guests.
- Maintain records for maintenance issues, equipment use, lost and found items, and gift registries.
- Help residents communicate concerns to professional staff members.
- Enforce and uphold Campus Living and Learning policies.
- Assist hall staff with general administrative duties.
- Stay informed about on-campus resources to provide accurate referrals.
What you'll need#
- Ability to act as a helpful resource for residents, parents, and visitors.
- Understanding of escort and visitation policies.
- Ability to communicate concerns to residence hall support staff.
Location & details#
- Location: Heritage House, Waco, Texas.
- Schedule: 10 to 20 hours per week.
- Term: Rolling employment from September 1, 2026, through May 20, 2026.
- Modality: On-site.
- Compensation: $8 per hour.
