About the role#
The Academic Services Associate provides administrative and clerical support for the George W. Truett Theological Seminary. This role assists with daily office routines and helps manage student academic processes. You will work directly with staff to ensure the office runs smoothly.
What you'll do#
- Greet guests and answer inquiries from students, faculty, and visitors.
- Handle incoming and outgoing correspondence, including mail and phone calls.
- Assist with document preparation, filing, and maintaining office records.
- Enter data into spreadsheets and help generate reports.
- Help advise students on basic degree plans and curriculum questions.
- Manage office supply inventory and keep common areas organized.
- Assist with planning special events like graduation, conferences, and advising meals.
- Ensure the confidentiality of all office information.

- Consistent and punctual attendance.

- This position is located at Truett Seminary, Suite 205, in Waco, Texas.
- This is a part-time, on-site role with flexible working hours.
- The pay rate is $10 per hour.
