About the role#
This is a four-month summer internship based in Calgary. You will work on-site to support large-scale agronomic trials, gain hands-on experience in the field, and contribute to research projects. This role is a full-time position intended for students who will return to their studies after the summer term.
What you'll do#
- Organize and manage large-scale trials.
- Conduct evaluations on seed treatments, herbicides, and fungicides.
- Support customer tours and presentations.
- Operate ATVs and pull-behind sprayers.
- Transport equipment between trial sites.
- Complete and present a demand creation or research project.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in an agriculture science or related degree program.
- Enthusiasm for agronomy and a desire to learn.
- Strong communication skills and a commitment to safety.
- Ability to travel within your assigned region and work independently.
- A valid driver’s licence.
- Must be returning to studies following the internship.
- Experience with farm equipment and sprayers is an asset.
