About the role#
This is a full-time, paid internship for the Summer 2027 term. You will work on-site in the Peace Region of Alberta, gaining hands-on experience in agricultural science and trial management. This role requires travel within the region and the ability to work independently.
What you'll do#
- Organize and manage large-scale agronomic trials.
- Conduct evaluations on seed treatments, herbicides, and fungicides.
- Operate ATVs and pull-behind sprayers.
- Transport equipment between various trial sites.
- Support customer tours and presentations.
- Complete and present a research or demand creation project to the team.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in an agriculture science or related degree program.
- A valid driver’s licence.
- Ability to travel within the assigned region and work independently.
- Strong communication skills and a commitment to safety.
- Enthusiasm for agronomy and a desire to learn.
- Previous experience with farm equipment and sprayers is an asset.
