About the role#
We are looking for a Design Intern to join our Creative team. You will work across paid ads, brand campaigns, and the visual systems that support them. This is a hands-on role where you will own real output from your first week. You will design work that reaches the market, build tools for your teammates, and help us understand what resonates with homeowners. This role is open for the Winter 2027 and Summer 2027 terms.
What you'll do#
- Design creative on a weekly cadence for paid, brand, and campaign projects.
- Build and maintain reusable Figma template systems for the design and marketing teams.
- Conduct competitive research on brands in energy, home services, and other sectors.
- Organize and build a library of top-performing creative assets.
- Collaborate with designers and marketers to iterate on concepts based on performance data and creative instinct.
What you'll need#
- Strong visual design fundamentals including typography, color, layout, and hierarchy.
- A portfolio that shows range and taste.
- Working proficiency in Figma, including components, auto layout, and template building.
- Genuine curiosity about design and how it functions.
- Ability to move quickly and manage your time across multiple deliverables.
- Comfort giving and receiving direct feedback.
