About the role#
The Deployments Engineering team manages the technical systems and standards that make installations safe, repeatable, and scalable. This includes work on installation design, electrical and mechanical specifications, field diagnostics, and equipment performance. You will gain hands-on experience with how hardware engineering translates into real-world applications at scale.
What you'll do#
- Review and refine installation designs and technical specifications for field crews.
- Assist with troubleshooting technical issues during deployment, including electrical faults and mechanical fit problems.
- Build and maintain documentation, checklists, and technical standards.
- Analyze field data to identify recurring issues and propose improvements.
- Support commissioning and quality-check processes to ensure systems meet performance and safety standards.
- Coordinate with operations and field teams to translate engineering requirements into on-the-ground execution.
- Contribute to tooling and documentation to help the team scale across new markets.
What you'll need#
- Current pursuit of a degree in Electrical Engineering or Mechanical Engineering.
- Interest in hardware engineering and its application at scale.
- Ability to support technical troubleshooting.
- Capacity to maintain documentation and technical standards.
- Strong analytical skills for identifying recurring issues.
- Capability to coordinate with cross-functional operations and field teams.

- This is an on-site role based in Austin, Texas.
- This is a paid, full-time internship with a rolling term.
