About the role#
Our Energy & Resources, Market & Transactions practice is seeking Summer Interns to join our New York office. You will work at the forefront of the energy transition, supporting a team of experts who advise energy companies, banks, and governments on complex market challenges. This is a full-time, paid internship designed to provide hands-on experience in strategic, economic, and commercial consulting.
What you'll do#
- Support the consulting team on business and commercial strategy engagements for corporations across the energy value chain.
- Develop US market entry strategies for global renewable energy developers.
- Perform business case development for distributed generation technologies.
- Conduct granular power market modelling focused on North American markets.
- Conduct carbon measurement, decarbonization, and transition planning for organizations.
What you'll need#
- Current status as a junior or student entering their final year of college studies.
- Eligibility to work in the US. Please note that this position is not eligible for immigration sponsorship.
- Knowledge of wholesale power and gas markets.
- Strong analytical skills and the ability to develop innovative business solutions.
- A genuine interest in the energy transition and energy markets.
- Proficiency in data tools such as SQL, Python, PowerBI, Tableau, and MS Excel.
- Effective communication skills and a track record of team collaboration.
- Relevant majors include Business Administration, Economics, Finance, Computer Science, Data Science, or Environmental Engineering.

- Term: Summer 2027 (June 7 to July 30).
- Modality: On-site.
- Compensation: $1,200 per week.
