RN-Intern I (CCU)

About the role#

As an RN-Intern I in the Critical Care Unit (CCU), you will provide technical assistance and support to nursing staff to help achieve quality patient outcomes. This role involves active participation in patient care, clinical leadership development, and ongoing education within a hospital setting.

What you'll do#

• Assess patients under the direction of a registered nurse.
• Contribute to, implement, and evaluate patient plans of care.
• Provide direct patient care and general assistance to the nursing team.
• Participate in activities aimed at improving health care delivery.
• Build your clinical leadership knowledge base and complete assigned professional goals.

What you'll need#

• Current enrollment as a full-time senior student in an approved registered nursing program, with a projected graduation date within one year.
• Ability to meet or exceed all academic requirements.
• Computer literacy.
• BLS certification, which must be obtained within 14 days of your hire date.
