Intern-Nurse I

About the role#

The Intern-Nurse I role provides technical assistance and support to nursing staff to help achieve quality patient outcomes. This position focuses on gaining clinical experience and contributing to patient care under the direct supervision of a registered nurse.

What you'll do#

• Assess patients under the direction of a registered nurse.
• Contribute to, implement, and evaluate plans of care as directed.
• Provide direct patient care and general assistance to the nursing staff.
• Participate in activities aimed at improving health care delivery.
• Build a clinical knowledge base and participate in ongoing educational activities.

What you'll need#

• Current enrollment as a full-time senior student in an approved registered nursing program, with a projected graduation date within one year.
• Ability to meet or exceed all academic requirements.
• Computer literacy.
• BLS certification, which must be obtained within 14 days of the hire date.
