    About the role#

    Baptist Memorial Health Care is seeking a Nurse Intern for the OB/GYN department. This is a paid, full-time, on-site internship role based in Columbus, Mississippi. You will provide technical assistance and patient care under the direct supervision of a registered nurse to support quality patient outcomes and clinical operations.

    What you'll do#

    • Assess patients under the direction of a registered nurse.
    • Contribute to, implement, and evaluate patient plans of care.
    • Provide direct patient care and general assistance to the nursing staff.
    • Participate in activities designed to improve healthcare delivery.
    • Build your clinical leadership knowledge and complete assigned educational goals.

    What you'll need#

    • Current enrollment as a full-time senior student in an approved registered nursing program, with a projected graduation date within one year.
    • Ability to meet or exceed all academic requirements.
    • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification, to be obtained within 14 days of your hire date.
    • Computer literacy.
