    About the role#

    This is a paid, full-time internship for Summer 2026 at Baptist Memorial Health Care. Interns work on-site to provide technical assistance and support to nursing staff, contributing to quality patient outcomes and learning clinical leadership skills.

    What you'll do#

    • Assess patients and collect patient data under the direction of a registered nurse.
    • Perform technical clinical skills as directed.
    • Contribute to the development and implementation of patient care plans.
    • Provide direct patient care and assistance to the nursing team.
    • Participate in activities to improve health care delivery and complete assigned educational goals.

    What you'll need#

    • Current enrollment as a full-time student in an approved licensed practical nursing program with at least three months of the program completed.
    • Maintenance of all academic requirements.
    • Computer literacy.
    • Ability to obtain BLS certification within 14 days of the hire date.
