    About the role#

    This Nurse Intern II position in the Transplant ICU provides technical assistance and patient care under the direction of a registered nurse. This role focuses on supporting quality patient outcomes, assisting nursing staff, and building clinical leadership skills.

    What you'll do#

    • Assess patients and contribute to the development, implementation, and evaluation of care plans under the direction of a registered nurse.
    • Provide direct patient care and general assistance to the nursing team.
    • Participate in activities aimed at improving health care delivery.
    • Engage in ongoing educational activities and work toward completing assigned professional goals.

    What you'll need#

    • Graduation from a registered nursing program and currently awaiting licensure.
    • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification, which must be obtained within 14 days of hire.
    • Proficiency with computers.
    • Ability to fulfill the requirements of the Nurse Intern II category within 90 days of graduation.
