About the role#
This internship provides technical assistance and patient care support within the operating room. You will work under the direction of registered nurses to help achieve quality patient outcomes while building your clinical knowledge and leadership skills. This is a full-time, paid position with a rolling term.
What you'll do#
- Assess patients under the guidance of a registered nurse.
- Contribute to the development, implementation, and evaluation of patient care plans.
- Provide direct patient care and general assistance to the nursing staff.
- Participate in activities focused on improving health care delivery.
- Engage in ongoing educational activities and work toward assigned goals.
What you'll need#
- Graduation from a registered nursing program and currently awaiting licensure.
- Computer literacy.
- Ability to obtain BLS certification within 14 days of your hire date.
- Note that the Nurse Intern II role is limited to a maximum of 90 days following graduation.
