    About the role#

    The Intern-Nurse II (CCU) provides technical assistance and patient care under the direction of a registered nurse. This role focuses on supporting quality patient outcomes, assisting nursing staff, and facilitating communication between patients, guests, and the clinical team.

    What you'll do#

    • Assess patients under the direction of a registered nurse.
    • Contribute to, implement, and evaluate patient care plans.
    • Provide direct patient care and general assistance to the nursing staff.
    • Participate in clinical improvement activities and educational programs to build knowledge in clinical leadership.

    What you'll need#

    • Graduation from a registered nursing program and currently awaiting licensure.
    • Computer literacy.
    • BLS certification, which must be obtained within 14 days of the hire date.
    • Note: The duration of this internship is limited to 90 days following graduation.

    • Location: Columbus, Mississippi.
    • Schedule: Full-time.
    • Modality: On-site.
    • Compensation: Paid internship.
