    About the role#

    This OB/GYN Nurse Internship at Baptist Memorial Health Care provides technical assistance to nursing staff to support quality patient outcomes. The role involves direct patient care and communication with staff, patients, and guests while building a clinical leadership knowledge base.

    What you'll do#

    • Assess patients under the direction of a registered nurse.
    • Contribute to, implement, and evaluate plans of care as directed.
    • Provide patient care and assistance to the nursing team.
    • Participate in activities designed to improve health care delivery.
    • Complete assigned goals and participate in ongoing educational activities.

    What you'll need#

    • Current enrollment as a full-time senior student in an approved registered nursing program, with a projected graduation date within one year.
    • Must meet or exceed all academic requirements.
    • Computer literacy.
    • Ability to obtain BLS certification within 14 days of the hire date.
