About the role#

Baptist Memorial Health Care is seeking an Intern Nurse I for the Critical Care Unit (CCU). This is a paid, full-time, on-site internship opportunity in Columbus, Mississippi, designed for senior nursing students to gain clinical experience under the guidance of registered nurses.

What you'll do#

• Assess patients under the direction of a registered nurse.
• Contribute to, implement, and evaluate plans of care as directed.
• Provide direct patient care and general assistance to the nursing staff.
• Participate in activities to improve health care delivery and build clinical leadership knowledge.
• Engage in ongoing educational activities and complete assigned professional goals.

What you'll need#

• Current enrollment as a full-time senior student in an approved registered nursing program.
• Ability to obtain BLS certification within 14 days of the hire date.
• Computer literacy.
