About the role#
The Intern-Nurse I role provides technical assistance and support to nursing staff to help achieve quality patient outcomes. This position involves direct involvement in patient care, communication with guests, and participation in clinical activities to support health care delivery.
What you'll do#
- Assess patients under the direction of a registered nurse.
- Contribute to, implement, and evaluate plans of care as directed.
- Provide direct patient care and assistance to the nursing staff.
- Participate in activities designed to improve health care delivery and clinical leadership.
- Complete assigned goals and participate in ongoing educational activities.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment as a full-time senior student in an approved registered nursing program, with a projected graduation date within one year.
- Ability to meet or exceed all academic requirements.
- Computer literacy.
- BLS certification must be obtained within 14 days of the hire date.
