Intern-Nurse I

About the role#

The Intern-Nurse I provides technical assistance and support to nursing staff to help achieve quality patient outcomes. This role involves active participation in patient care, clinical leadership development, and ongoing educational activities under the direct supervision of a registered nurse.

What you'll do#

• Assess patients and contribute to the development, implementation, and evaluation of care plans under the direction of a registered nurse.
• Provide direct patient care and general assistance to the nursing team.
• Participate in activities aimed at improving health care delivery.
• Build a foundational knowledge of clinical leadership.
• Engage in ongoing educational activities and complete assigned professional goals.

What you'll need#

• Current enrollment as a full-time senior student in an approved registered nursing program, with a projected graduation date within one year.
• Ability to meet or exceed all academic requirements.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification, to be obtained within 14 days of the hire date.
• Computer literacy.
